this is a interesting topic.
my perception of the people is the opposite of my perception of the religion.
I voted as "peaceful people" because statistics say so.
But I think the religion is evil.

They're just like everyone else. They want to lead successful lives, but they have a few nutjobs in their faith, not unlike any other faith. I can't remember who said it, but the quote was something like "Those who speak the loudest know the least." You can't call all Muslims terrorists just because a handful like to blow up stuff.

Most of them take it too seriously and place their religion above ANYTHING ELSE. Including family and probably themselves.
Most of them don't even give a shit when a Tsunami fucks up a Muslim nation (Indonesia) or when Pakistani troops storm the shit out of a Mosque. But when a cartoon is drawn their up in arms.
The first one is more true. Second one just typed up because.
At the end of the day they're mostly normal.
