It all comes down to this.... What is now known as Israel is an area that has been fought over for centuries. All claims to the ownership of this land are essentially futile. What is most important now is for both sides to live together in some sort of separate peace.

This probably will never occur, and it seems more likely that one side will eventually just kill off the other.

WOW.....common sense. I didn't think these forums were capable of this. Basically that is what I have been saying the time I have been on this site after the same forum post after forum post about the same stuff over and over. There is so much history, so much war and so many times that one has built on top of the other and it won't end anytime soon.

What I don't understand is how the bigger picture of legitimate causes being hi-jacked by muslim extremists gets totally lost in these history lessons in these forums. The Palestinian issue will NEVER be solved as long as terrorists mix among the cause. If anyone hasn't noticed that this tactic is going on all over the Middle East, in Asia and in Africa. That's the real problem we all face.

I agree. History changes all the time, people come and go. In the past North America was mostly inhabitated by Indian tribes, then came the white men. Now we see this happening with the Mexican immigrants.

Agreed, but the problem has another side to it as well. Terrorists aren't the only problem. The Israeli government is rather corrupt in its own right.
