1591704 - Wtf - BF2S Forums

Freezer7Pro: I don't come here a lot anymore.; +1,447|6426|Winland

Whenever I surf the BF2s forums, the Get Stats box has "1591704" in it. If I press Go, it won't find anything. It's not such a big deal, but it's very annoying to see it there. I'm a "Home" button overuser

Anyone else having this "problem", and do anyone have a solution?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I think when you open a direct link to a post, the post number appears in the "get stats" line also.

Yeah. It's a bug in that the forums and that box use the same global variable. Never really been a problem, so I leave it be.

Isn't it the number of posts in the forums? When you post, that number comes up and the number shows how many posts are in the forums?

Yes. Every post has a number which is used to track down that post. It also shows how many posts there are.
