A Vice President can server 2 terms and then be President for 2 terms, so why not a President serve for 2 terms and then serve 2 terms as Vice President in that order?

There are many rumors that Hillary Clinton will most likely reconcile with Barrack Obama to choose him as a her candidate, but if resent events on the campaign trail show that Hillary is using her husband in her campaign to humanize her (i.e. Soprano's spoof, and Bill speaking at more rallies), is this leading to her choosing her husband as Vice President?

Would a Hillary+Bill ticket be better than a Hillary+Barrack ticket?

Barrack, in the latest quarter, our raised Hillary in campaign donations, 32 vs. 27 million (more than double the Republican candidates: Guliani $15 million; Romney $14 million, and McCain $11 million).

Hope not.  We have to get this family monopoly of Presidencies out of the way.  Bad enough skull and bones are present.

it;s not possible, as the vice-president serves as president when the president is out of action, and Bill is barred constitutionally from serving as president of the united states of america. in other words, due to the 2 term restriction, Bill is barred from both president and vice-president.

There's no 2 term restriction. Its a tradition, as Lincoln or Washington (cant remember which) only served 2 terms, its a mark for respect. FDR served four terms.

Later there was an Amendment making it only 2 terms wasn't there?

...and after FDR died, the US passed the 22nd Ammendment restricting the Presidency to two terms. Actually, the most you can EVER serve as president is if your are the vice president taking over for the loss of a president.  IF you take over more than halfway through the term, it would not count as your frist term.  The longest you can serve is 2 years minus one day plus two terms.  9 years, 355 days.

The 22nd amendment coupled with the 12th amendment implies that Bill Clinton cannot be Vice President - however, I believe that Bill Clinton could serve in another role which is in the line of succession (e.g. Speaker of the House, cabinet positions, etc.) since we currently have cabinet secretaries who do not qualify for the Presidency.

there's no reason why there needs to be another clinton in office.  There was no reason why there should be a second bush.

This is bull shit...

It's like having a fucking royal family or something.

Did he run it the first time, or did Hilary?  I say that Bill or any person who was president, would not be able to hold vice president after being president.  The Constitution has an amendment that says that a person can only hold the office of the President for 8 years (or two terms).  If something were to happen to Hilary, in this case, then we would not be able to allow the Vice President to hold office.

Now for the other part of the amendment, or a way around it, the amendment says that a person can not be elected, since Bill would be serving as Vice President, and something were to happen to Hilary, then he was not technically elected as President.  But this is how you define elected, since Bill would have been elected as Vice President, and since he ran on the same ticket as Hilary, does this effect the amendment.

I personal do not think it should be allowed, since we have that amendment, knowing that something can occur to the president.  Also, people can abuse the "loop", a former President can run as Vice President, then if the ticket they are running on is elected, wait a year or so, then have the President step down.

Just to add on to your comment, I think we should put a term limit on people on Capital Hill also.  I hate it when a state elects the same Senator, or House Rep every election.  After a while they do not know what the people of your state want, they just assume, they loose touch with the people who elected them.  For example, Ted Kennedy or Robert Byrd has been in office for a long time.  After a while, Senators and House Rep will be voting based on their pockets, and not for the people that elected them.  That is one of the reasons I think our government is doing so horrible, and not helping the people but the major corporations.

Edit:  After doing some research, this is another clause in the 12th amendment that may come up.  Here it is:

12th amendment wrote:

But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
Bill is not eligible to be President of the US, so this may be the factor that would not allow him to run as Vice President.  Then again, going back to the 22nd amendment, it depends on how you interpret the meaning of "elected"

It would be a lot better if Bill Clinton ran as Barack Obama's vice president. That way he could politically cheat on his wife with a black man.
