Just imagine that for some magical reason, Great Britian and the U.S. went to war against each other... If it was just those 2 countries, who do you think would win and why. Dont flame one or the other by saying say u think the US would win cuz Great Britian sux, or anything like that, just answer in your opinion who you think and why....

I think the US would win because , our technology is about the same so i think it would matter on population, the US has more people so thats who i think would win.

America spends $650 billion dollars on defense, so I'd assume that US will win. As a Great Britain'er then, we could win because we are on an island, but America is so much bigger and stronger (despite its Iraq situation) so I think they would win.

I have to say that the US would win, though i don't like to say it. the last thing the government would do would be to launch all our nukes, then watch as they harmlessly miss and hit the pacific instead.

be a bitch to keep the peace in though the US would end up with many, many casualties mostly from fighting guerrilla's after our eventual defeat.

i think it comes down to where it will be fought. If china invaded the US they would loose. Because, our whole population would be fighting them in our turf. So it comes down to when and where each battle is fought.
