I had been trying to find out how to fix the rebooting problem with bf2 all day, and then I came across this: http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=6275 .
I ran the eraser and then AFTER I done that I realised that i've lost my fucking booklet with the cd key on it. So now I can't join any servers, I can still log in, mess around in the menus, single player etc, but when I attempt to connect to a server bf2 crashes. I know im a fucking idiot for doing this and i've been pissed off all day. Does anyone know any way I can get this registry stuff back or if anyone can really just tell me what I have to do. I would just reinstall as normal by finding the cd-key in the registry....which is deleted, so now I can only play single player and the only way I can think of playing online again is by buying the game again to get a new cd-key.
