Info on "Stats not updating" ... and "Stats may be back"

ok soooo, its now been some odd 2 weeks and a half... since stats have been working properly that is. i did get a random update for 52 points in the middle of my freeze time, but that was definitley not the highlight of my 2+ weeks. anyways EA has said to me, specifically when i flamed the shit out of their forums, to stop and that all stats should be going again. they also mentioned that old stats WOULD NOT be recovered, but that same moderator later posted that it WOULD work. ((suspicioussssss))

so can someone just tell me what is still going on, and why my stats won't update? is it because the server STILL hasn't restarted or what is it?

well i restarted my game server and the stats have been updating

this was over 2 weeks ago

i dont know what everyones issue is.

my server has been updating the stats for weeks.

maybe the server admin(s) havnt restarted there server.

Same here, BF2s eu server has been updating for a week now. If your stats update more slowly now, it's because they are processing the lost points that were not updated two weeks ago.

Here is a link where EA is actually addressing the issue with a resolution. This should have been addressed with the in-game message that has been advertising Tampa map.

From what I read, the main emphasis that EA will be spending their time will be on lost stats and then they will catch up as quick as they can. This is what I have interpreted by what they have put out. From what I understand, they expect all stats to update. No time frame though.

THey will be starting today so your current stats should be put at the back of the queue.

Exactly, 24/7 dalian insomnia has updated right after the round is over for the last 2 days, Havent found an oman server that does yet though

Now I'm excited how long it takes to get the stats working again FOR EVERYBODY ON ANY SERVER not only for few people.

I agree. I was playing on a newish account last night on a SF server. I got the vanilla Assault Combat Badge (which is showing in my stats) and the SF Assult Specialist Badge (which is NOT in my stats). I got them both in the same round. I don't know how the stat system works, but that seems like a whole new problem to me. Maybe when they fixed the update problem they forgot to fix the SF awards... Has anyone recieved an award from SF lately?

the same thing happened to me. i got both expert engineer badges on iron gator, and only the vanilla badge updated. the specialist one still hasn't. maybe it will come later if they ever update the old stuff.

ffs people. how can everyone keep posting about this. EA has said stats will not be working properly until all of the backlog processing is complete. so all of you complaining about some servers updating and some not is basically a waste of your time. i don't understand how much more explicity they can say that your stats will not reflect your gameplay until this has been resolved. give them a minute to fix things... jeeeez

Actually, come to think of it, I remember this happened with my Expert AT combat before the problem with the stats started. So I guess it's probably unrelated. Sorry for the confusion.

BTW My SF AT Specialist badge never came.
