Info on "Stats not updating" ... and "Stats may be back"

Hey i just read something that someone mentioned on the EAUK forums.

He said his combat, teamwork and commander scores added up to higher than his global score (ie, they'd been updated). And so does mine (even though nothing else is updating), so check your own and see if thats updating.

My scores add up to 2000 more than my global score.

Oh hang on. Do those scores take tk's, team damages, suicides etc into account? If not then never mind.

The command score that you receive at the end of a winning round is your base score plus a bonus for the win. That entire score is listed in your Command Score stat. However, the global score does NOT take into account the bonus you receive for wins, just the base score you received for that round, therefore, adding all three scores together is actually your global score plus the bonuses. I think that's how it works.

EA no longer profits from BF2????????? Do you understand the kind of money they are making off ranked servers? Not only that, they introduced the "BF2 Complete" pack that contains all the versions and booster packs and I know tons of people who have bought that so they could get more out of the game with the expansions, especially SF for the weapons unlocks, even myself. They are still making money from this game....LOTS of money!!! Why produce products, post false "fixing" messages and why kill a game that is stat based to force it to another game? That is just not even logical in the least. They are losing money right now because people aren't playing and they will probably lose some ranked server income over this and I for one will not buy 2142 at all. Never had the urge to and wont, there is no reason to. Mine updated yesterday. I guess I was lucky enough to get a server that is still updating. There are some out there, so Im not sure why some are and some arent. Its very very strange.
