Is our goverment really gonna let us slide silently in to the EU With out giving the public a referendum? I cant belive they would just hand over more powers to people we dont want to have. Boo to Blair!

To be fair, the British referendum votes have been a complete farce.

Did anyone who voted actually know the economic and political ramifications of joining the Euro? no. It largely came down to 'do you want the queens head on our money' or 'do you want to be more liberal and just do the rest of Europe want'.

(by the way, to the OP, you spelt 'Great Britain' incorrectly)
