Amazing how EA/DICE managed to ruin one of the best games ever.

I didn't have a comp that could run bf2 at the time. All I had was a laptop. I bought my computer to play bf2 though, and got it the day before my birthday. I'm running at about 1 1/2 years atm. Good times.

I wish I started playing this game earlier. I remember people telling me the game was so fun but I was still reluctant to get it. I didn't wind up getting it until Thanksgiving weekend of 05. And even then I didn't even get into it that much, I only played it off and on. But a year after getting it I've been hooked and I regret not being able to get hooked earlier. Now all I need to do is finally upgrade my shitty PC
Since the beta? No. I did a beta once, and it felt too much like doing work than playing a game. However, I did get it on 06-22-05. The first day it was brought to shelves here.
There was many a time I hid near the enemy chopper pad, waited for the chopper to spawn in, ran up to drop 2 C4 on the chopper, and then waited for it to load up with passengers.
Of course, I never blew them up on the chopper pad, or near their base. That's just too kind. Nope! I waited until I they flew out of view, thinking they were all safe in their flying coffin...

Every once in the while, they'd find me, and kill me in retaliation. The remaining majority of the time, they'd make a passive search, load up, and get blown up again.
Nothing like making chopper & pilot whores genuinely fear getting into their toys. But... Like moths to an open flame, it's inevitable that they can't refrain themselves from jumping in (I especially loved the ones that would TK their team for a jet, and then subsequently get blown up).
