Bunny hopping, we've all seen it in some shape and form and it's probably been around since the dawn of time... okay maybe not the dawn of time but ever since FPS has been conceived, this technique has been the bread 'n' butter as well as the shit 'n' scandal of many a downfall. Does it really save your life? Is it really worth doing?

Personally I say no because not only does it seem ridiculous to do, it is ridiculous. There is NO WAY in hell that even the most trained Ranger or Navy Seal in military profession can jump 3/4ths the height of his own body again, and again and again while screaming "We got Charlie everywhere! Don't worry I'm bunnyhopping so I'm good for a good 5 minutes till you guys get here!" That doesn't happen...

Despite this being a game, I seriously do not want to conform to that silly little tactic after seeing countless bodies go down from my own rounds and as much as I even feel TEMPTED to do it, I'm not... so what about the rest of you? A post like this probably exists as is but what about a solution?

If another patch comes out, I say they should deal with the bunnyhopping situation, like after doing a jump, there's a 15 second cool down or something, your stamina won't drop completely but your chances of doing it again are because I'm sure someone in reality could take a SINGLE jump, but to do it over and over again would be proposterous. So why not give it a cooldown session of 15 seconds or something and then LEG THE REST OF IT! They should... I dunno, that's just my thoughts on it, what about y'all?

You use the hopping tactic with a 1.28 small-arms K/D. You should try something else! Because, bunny-hopping really isn't helping you that much. You're a good, experianced player so if you sit still for a second I guarantee you'll get more infantry kills.

What the hell are you talking about? Sit still? My K/D ratio would be even worse.

The only reason my K/D ratio in small-arms is 1.23 (which is still pretty good) is because 80% of those deaths are caused by artillery or vehicles. Has nothing to do with me vs infantry.

All I'm saying is try it, go prone take precise shots. You may find it works better. And I agree you're small-arms is very good. I kind of flamed you in my first quote I apologize, I didn't mean it that way.

Don't let something like the removal of bunny hopping ruin the game for you!

I dont think theres anything worng with bunnyhopping or people firing in the air, but I dont think its right that the greande launcher should be so effective in the air or be so effective at close range, it make the game dull, repetitive, predictable, boring & repetitive. It forces people wo may have spent their career in game as infantry give up & become tank whores.

Oh, you're talking about bunny-hopping from tanks and long-range fire. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. People bunny hop around as their sole killing tactic is what I was talking about. Now I'm on the same page.

I always find it funny that it's always the same kind of people who complain about bunny hopping.

Come on guys running up to a guy and going prone directly infront of him is generally just going to result in your death unless of course the other guy does the exact same thing and you're both prone 2 inches away from each other.

At mid range and above I can understand going prone but about 5 inches away from a guy and just lying there while he hops round you and shoots you, lol.... The amount of people who actually do this is ridiculous and then they have the cheek to say "OMFG THAT BUNNY HOPPER IS A NOOB".

End of the day there is bunny hopping in practically every first person shooting game, if you don't like it... Play Pokemon or something. I'd say mario but you can jump in that and they'd probably complain that you can't go prone
