When you guys quote, can you quote their last statement instead of the whole dialogue please? I'd rather not have the same series of posts spammed all over the place. thanks.

I'm saying that It takes more effort to make the same money in Europe, but nobody does, because the governments support the failures.

I actually found this site several months ago and didn't sign up or register. One thing I noticed right away was the America bashing threads on here almost on a daily basis. I also noticed that most of these threads were posted by people who do not live in America. It made me wonder if they have even spent a good amount of time in America to get a feel of how we feel and how we live. I don't know of a more generous country than America. I eventually had to sign up because of the crap I was seeing written and give another voice. Sometimes I wish our government wouldn't get involved so much in some things but then it always seems to come down to us to do the dirty work. We are "damned if you do, damned if you don't". My posts have been about looking at the rest of the world sometimes and realizing that the things we have done or are doing are not near as bad as a lot of things going on as we speak. There is a lot more corrupt in this world, horribly corrupt governments, genocide, rogue governments that are far more dangerous and corrupt than America could ever be. There seems to be blinders on and way to much focus on what U.S. is doing. Nothing wrong with that, but don't overlook the rest of the world and jump on the anti-American bandwagon just because its cool.

I bet most of us get our info from the net or the national/ international media. I will say one thing, I have lost faith in the media. It comes down to "No news is good news" for me because if you listened to our National news every night, you would think the end of the world is soon coming. How much positive news is there....very little. It would be nice to see the bright side of things sometimes. It would be nice to see the good side of what we have done in places but a lot of the world has a very short memory. It would be nice to see the positive steps and voices in Iraq...but if there isn't a bloody limb hanging off a tree somewhere, then our media wont report it. Can anyone here even imagine what the CURRENT media would do to World War 2......when instead of losing a few soldiers here or there, we lost thousands in a day. Our current media would tear that war to hell. The media would be calling for everyones heads to roll. Can you imagine what they would have said about D-day, could you imagine the pictures and reports. My God....it would be so negative and our media would be telling everyone "we are losing"

Anyway...this is a great post because I feel exactly how he feels. I joined this site because it was a gaming site, but to be honest, I have never seen such negativity aimed at one place that I have seen in here. I may be new here but I noticed what this thread is about immediately. My 2 cents.

i generaly have no problem associating with americans, i have lots of american friends, hell even my girlfriend is american (although her dad hates me because im canadian >.< damn redneck)

its the loud, in your face, my country is better then yours, in every possible way, it has no flaws AMERICA FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!! people who give your country a bad name and image...    ive been around america a bit, and MOST of the people have usualy been nice (every basket has a few bad apples as the saying goes)

every country has assholes, no way around it :\
