Not even because of the whole "stigma" behind it. The L85 just has that (for me at least) ability to evoke those WTF moments. When I least expect it, headshot and kill. When I expect a kill, all misses. It's just funny.
Plus, the scope is pretty neat.

Null Vote. Both guns have advantages and disadvantages in certian situations. And in some cases the orginal weapon is better. It depends on your style of play and the situation as to what weapon you like best at any given time.
My right-hand Medic gun will always be the L85A1. It's scope got me many kills on Op. Clean Sweep one round. I was a self-healing sniper! ^_^

QFT. The friggin L85A1 is a love me/hate me gun. I can go on some hellacious killing sprees with it and then not be able to hit shit with it two minutes later.
Many people talk tough about the M16, but quite frankly I find it far easier to handle than the L8. Like the e, it's pixel perfect scoped over distance and up close the bullet spread is minimal.kinglufc wrote:
