The game is made by FPS players for FPS players, it should be an awesome mod.
However I'm looking forward to it. The steam engine does seem to be a really good choice, especially for smaller "special operations" type stuff like I think this is supposed to be.
Uhh...do you need hl2? I have CSS...but you need hl2 right?

It also looks like you need to have downloaded something called "SDK base"
Do not worry! You will find it at your "Steam" front-page under tools.
Then you just need to install it. It takes 5 min.

If you have sdk base installed, insurgency will play fine. . . .
as a matter of fact, if you own any source game that utilizes the sdk base it should let insurgency play. . . .so no need to re-download.

OMG I need to wait for my local internet company to host it before I can download it. Even then it might not work with Half Life 2: Episode 1.
