all I heard from his father, was that Mike was running a training workshop with 8 SAS cats in Utah. . . .and the reason they were in Utah is because they (SAS commandos) fucked up in Iran. . . so take it or leave it!

You arent going to "waste time and money" on SAS commandos who have millions of dollars of training etc. just becaused they fucked up! If the problem is fixable, I am sure they are doing the training to fix the problem. . . .then again I wasnt there, so I dont know exactly what occured in Utah to necessitate the re-training.

I dont care if half of you believe me or not lol. . . .I probably never should have started the thread knowing that I would get responses like "Bullshit, your full of it, far fetched" etc. . .

equally yes. disclosing a mission to the enemy is a serious no-no, you think they wouldnt be RTU? time spent in the SAS is short anyway, there is no reason after such a cock up if it happened they simply would be shunned.
just a small pointer, to be picky, the SAS are not commandos.

~edit~ small point in your logic. they would have had a year and a 4 weeks training SAS + standard army (and any extra) training. you would think if they didnt get the "be quiet" rule after that (and the required time spent in the forces before SAS application) a crash course would help?

I really dont know why they would have to "retrain". . . .but thats what I was told. I am sure they did other training with the Seals as well. . . .its not uncomon for British and US special forces to train together
