Freezing

Ok, the first problem i have EVER had with bf2142.

Jus felt like a round or two, get some time with kits etc.
Load the map, froze about 2 seconds in.
Try a different map, froze during loading
repeat process.

Now, i was playing fine this morning, no software/hardware changes at all, and no program conflicts.
Any ideas why this is happning? I check task manager, and bf2142 just goes "unresponsive".

Help!

Worldwide ice age. Of course your computer is freezing.

Seriously, did you just try a restart? Windows just fuxors itself sometimes, good old restart can do a lot.

fatherted, FULL REINSTALL WILL solve it. i had exactly the same problem as well as a couple of other guys in my clan and reinstalling/repatching will fix it.

having the same problem, on the loading screen the progress bar stops at various random places although i can load up single player maps nps,..

ive uninstalled, deleted the bf2142 folder in Docs , re-installed + patched only to have the damn thing lock up again so that hasnt worked, anything else to try ?

Update. Repatched to 1.25, same problems. Don't wana try a full reinstall, CBA rely. Any other ideas?
