It's more like whenever someone expresses a view held by any "organized" religion that someone who cannot find a fault will resort to name calling and attack the unprovable existence of God or things of that nature. Our religous tenets are already in your "secular" laws though, we can't kill people (Commandments)

Pretty much....  Although I have to admit that some atheists really give us a bad name.  There's no reason to flip out when somebody wants to put the Ten Commandments in a courthouse.  I really could give two shits less.

Murder is one of many things that are condemned universally, strictures against it are capable of existing and have existed without religious backup of any kind. I agree with the first part. Although I admire Dawkins for his obvious cast-iron testicles, I really don't like his approach; it makes him seem as unhinged as the fundamentalists. As far as stuff like the Ten Commandments, I would agree except for two sticking points. One, pretty much all the recent attempts to have them placed in buildings like courthouses have been blatant attempts to stick it to us godless heathens, to say "See, we're still in charge around here". Such behavior should not be tolerated no matter what quarter it comes from. Two, only three out of the ten commandments actually apply to secular law; regarding theft, murder and perjury (false witness). The rest of them are purely religious in nature and some of them even go so far as to criminalize thought (coveting). Oh, the irony.

personally, I believe any form of prejudice, racism, bigotry, etc. is bad and should be avoided. Then again, I realize that humans aren't perfect. We give in to impulses, we let our emotions get the best of us. Living a life without prejudice is an ideal that no human can live up to.

We are not as good as we'd like to be. I can live with people having prejudices, cause I know I have them too. The important thing is to know the difference between one's prejudice and reality, and act accordingly.

Probably, but based on his experience with them, his observation might still be true.

We base our findings on our personal experiences. It is impossible to know i.e. judge each person on the planet individually. That's why we categorize. We see / meet a person, someone new, and automatically judge him/her according to the way he/she talks, acts, dresses, his or her personal views, their job, anything really. And yes, sometimes the color of their skin, or their religion comes into that equasion, too.

It's a natural thing. The important part is to keep an open mind, and to be able to overcome one's prejudices, should those not be coherent with the facts.

As far as forums are concerned, I have always believed that it is a good thing the anonymity (sp?) of the forums allows everyone to speak their mind freely. Certainly, there are things that will get you banned, and racism is among those. But I'd rather have an open discussion than one inhibited by PC.

Most of those countries have 40 years or less of being free countries.  Poverty and starvation doesn't help either.

Name one fucking African country that has discovered a new resource and hasn't had a civil war or genocide because of it in the past 40 years.  It isn't a generalization, it's a fact.

Taiwan, Japan.
Here's me arguing about someone actually from Taiwan but.. isn't Taiwan part of China. Don't they call that the Republic of China or something.
