It looks as though you took all your pics MOAB, from the sam spot
That be tru
Update:
Huey is 90% done, I need to touch up on the engine and spray the main rotors, Put red/white decal on the tail-rotor, touch up the nose, decal nose, put windows in nose. Then it's done.

Huey + dio is done finally, took me 2 weeks but oke. The nose decal is supposed to look ripped so it looks weathered. There is another Huey in he build with rocket mounts or 4 M134's, haven't decided yet, enjoy
Now both Huey's are done. I decided no to give it rockets at all nor do I put on doors.:
Group shot
Window shots
Diorama shot
T'was fun but expensive. For now I'm done with Huey's. I might get a SH46 form Vietnam in Marine style but not this month or next month(GTAIV+PS3)

How did I miss this! Here are some old ones, working on a Spitfire Mk I and an Avro Lancaster.
Hurricane Mk 2b
Lavochkin La-5FN
F4u-5 Corsair
F-16A Falcon
F-4F Phantom II
EF Typhoon
F-15D Eagle

I've got that same F-16, but the one of the damn tail fins got ripped off and the spike on the front was bent and it was going really well an all.
Sorry to hear that. Something always goes wrong when building models, parts break, bad paint jobs and so on. Can be very stressful at times. Just got to be more consistent and accurate.M.O.A.B wrote:

Oh, and am also finishing a Bf-109 G10. Although this model has been a bit of a nightmare building.
Bit of a long hiatus on this thread, but seeing as I don't want to make another one (this one has everyone's pics in one place so there's no need) here's a pic of my most recently finished model

Well, screw finding all those pics, I'll take a few myself later on.Fenris_GreyClaw wrote:

Well, I don't have pics of them (as of yet) but here's a list of what I do have:
[*] Sherman Tank (75mm gun)
[*] Sherman Tank (105mm howitzer gun)
[*] Late Model Tiger I
[*] Panzer IV
[*]M-16 American Halftrack with Quad-.50 cal MG's
[*] 3 German Halftracks of varying apperance
[*] Flak 88 Field gun
[*] 20mm Flak gun (in quad)
[*]M-42 (Duster) AA vehicle
[*] Various bits and pieces, sandbags, walls, random infantry sets...
If I remember, I'll go on Tamiya and obtain photos of the ones I have. (Also bear in mind, none of mine are painted yet, so don't be too 'wowed' when you see the pics from there )
The Models aren't painted though, so prepare for mistakes to show and low-def 'extras'
(Yes, I know you're supposed to paint them before assembly, but I was never given paints as presents like the models were, and I really wanted to build them)
This . I had some really nice ones but they're all in ruins nowadays. Rotor blades and wheels missing mostly. I was always a fan of the helicopters.Varegg wrote:
Sorry to say all my models are close to trash and some of them beyond repair after speniding years in the attic and/or met the hands of uncontrollable toddlers
I'll have to buy myself another one to make . Not made one in years. Thanks for reviving the thread and my interest.

Happy to help restore interest , I haven't done any for a while now and I've had nothing to do lately, completely forgot I could have filled my time doing the ones I got for xmas.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

Well after some time i thought i post some pictures. So i finished one of my models and i got a few in progress..
Russian KV-1
German Panther-G almost done
German Mörser Karl Gerät in progress
Fahrgestell for Karl Gerät in progress
I may enter a contest with that KV-1 but im not really sure. There are some mistakes on it what i discovered after i finished it.
For some reason i like the KV-1 and more to come with winter camo and one with serious damage or a wreck.
Thats all for today

Its all about practice and patience. Belive me my very first works were not like this. You also have to research a lot on the net for infos about what you are building. Also pictures and other works also help you. You have to practice the different techniques with airbrush and paint.aerodynamic wrote:

Thank you! Yes if you are up to scale models you have to buy an air compressor. You can paint big surfaces with an airbrush only.icecold2510 wrote:

Jesus, this brings back memories. All of my models are up in the attic someplace, but the only one Ive kept in my room, was my favourite of the lot.
She's taken a bit of a battering (hey, it was 10-12 years ago that I built her!) and shes a lil dusty, but shes still in good nick.
HMS Victory....that took me about 2months to complete. The rope ladders have not fared well over time lol.
If I cba to get them down, I will photo the others I did, which include ~20 aircraft (including a Vulcan ), ~15 tanks and 4 other (modern) ships.

Nice work guys!
This looks like fun. I may have to try this again sometime. I did it when I was little and lacking in dexterity and artistic skills. Maybe I can make some cool shit this time around...
mate thats really fucking good. I really need to learn how to use 3dsmax/maya better.Sydney wrote:
