Global Warming: Stop drinking bottled water

Anyone realize that bottled water, in plastic bottles, shipped on boats and trucks using alot of fossile fuels, and then not recycled in our landfills is actually hurting the environment?

I'm an Republican Environmentalist (yes I know that's an oxymoron), but in this case it make sence to use filtered tap water instead of buying the expensive (more than gasoline - or petrol for our Brit friends), water.

Just my suggestion to help the environment.

P.S. Drink beer instead.

Over here most bottled water is tap water, and most cities have recycling programmes which take water bottles as part of their weekly collection.

I'll buy a bottle, keepm refilling it from the tap until the bottle goes to shit, then chuck it out and repeat the process.

but no no no seriously I do reuse my plastic bags and plastic waters bottles; if i have to much i always resell it back to the bottle collectors who do claim they are recycling it -so hey i did my part. but i so totally for cutting dowm more trees.

I recycle bottled water bottles. As expensive as they are, it's still cheaper than Gatorade, and tastes better than tap water.

Why don't we try and remove the fossil fuel bit and the non-biodegradable bit instead.
