For some reason, 2142 is not detecting my obvious connection to the internet. I have turned off both firewalls in hopes that it might solve this problem, but there was no change in the message. Any suggestions before I just give up and throw the game out?

www.portforward.com - check for your router model, and search for BF2142, it will give you ports that it uses as you may have some blocked. Tht is all i can think of.
