He he, nice one lowing.  Start a thread on how Muslims teach hate and intolerance when this entire thread could be accused of exactly the same thing.  So what are you teaching lowing if its not hate?

I did read that, We are talking about a society that holds sawing off a head as JUST, are we not?  The definition of JUST really needs to gauged. What is justice to them is certainly not justice to us.

I love out of that whole article the only thing you can pull out and turn into a defense is that one sentence, ignoring everything else. Does that one sentence really give such you warm fuzzies for their society?

Seems to me that you are still thinking of the whole muslim world as such. That pretty much is as reasonable as labelling "us westeners and christians" as all being from Waco.

It's called unreasonable generalisation and extreme narrow-mindedness. Think before you speak.

Don't look now Frenchie, this thread is not about economics. It is about you all saying that Islam is a peace loving religion when in fact it, hate and intolerance is what is being taught throughout the ME within their school system.

You never brought much of a challenge to the table anyway. Debating with your ass was like shooting fish in a barrel. Maybe easier, fish at least moved. Try arguing a point instead of personal attacks, maybe you might win me over.
All you have are a couple of stories about Saudi Arabia and a school affiliated with the Iranian regime (that they would be intolerant is no surprise) yet you extrapolate that to Muslims and the Middle East in general. Frankly, your point is bullshit.

It's true that such things are taught in SA and Iran (again, no surprise there), but to assume that of Muslims as a whole is engaging in bigotry of the worst sort.
Hmmmmmmm, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, we are kinds whittling down the countries in the ME that do not teach this shit. You willing to place any bets this same shit is not taught in Syria, Jordan, Somolia,etc......

Then tell me how many coutries have to be shown that they actually teach this shit before you stop saying that I am generalizing?

This is what they are TEACHING in their schools.........

Nope protesting is as American as it gets. YOu would be unpatriotic when you stop supporting the troops. Unfortunately supporting the troops means you support the mission charged to them. Like it or not, the troops have been called to battle. Support them until the battle is won and we bring them home. Then you can vote out of office anyone you want.  To me creating so much strife with our troops caught in the middle is costing them lives.

You're saying that lowing but if that's the case then why have I NEVER met a Muslim that has ever given me the impression that he disliked me for being a 'Godless, infidel Westerner'? You're looking at the shite they're putting in certain textbooks and assuming the way a whole body of diverse religious factions are interpreting them. It could be argued that through the US media the American people are being conditioned to hate Middle Eastern Muslims, I wouldn't dare presume that every American actually felt that way though. Muslims are people not sheep, many Muslims will see through the meddling that political powers attempt with their religion.

Maybe so, but it is the ATTEMPT that you admit to, that the OP addresses. They are being taught  hate and intolerance, and the ME is full of hate and intolerance. Is a connection between the 2 really so hard to pull together??

Who's society? Islam is not a society, its a faith but you'd know this.  Your original post refers to contextually wrong Saudi textbooks yet the Japanese are world leaders at this practise.  I don't see you on a correct the Japanese textbooks crusade.  Anyway i have no idea why you have digressed to applicability of American Law to American Muslims.

IMO you are trying to use the article from the Washington Post to tar global Muslims with your hatred and intolerace brush.  Let me ask you this, just who isn't a hater and intolerant fuck?

I know, bad example. Sorry for that. But as far as the beheading goes, sure it's a brutal way of carrying out a death sentence, but death sentences in general are a cruel form of punishment, and also carried out in 37 of 50 states in the US.

This article is NOT about 1 school, 1 classroom and 1 teacher who got busted. We are talking about an entire country whose school curriculum is based on this shit. I also showed other countries who are teaching the same things. Please stop telling me I am generalizing. If the entire Muslim world was out to destroy the west EXCEPT FOR 1 and I said something about it, you guys would be accusing me of generalizing. C'mon M3thod

I also wanna add that Islam is as interwoven in their society as it gets. Their religion and their society seem to be one and the same.

Are Muslims living in Suidi Arabia not subject to their own laws? They see fit to behead people and you see fit to inject people with a drug so they die in the majority of your states.

Back to the main topic. Have you ever met a muslim or been to a country which is predominantly Muslim? If you had then you would know that most of them are peaceful, happy and generous people who respect otherpeoples religeons.

LOL. I fail to see where I'm defending Wahabiism. Or can you not comprehend the sentence: "Wahabism is terrible". I think you forget sometimes that you're talking to an atheist who abhorrs the intrusion of religion into civil affairs.

Without a moral code handed down from above, you wouldnt have civil affairs.
