Cause I started one about 15 minutes ago and the bar is still at the like 1%-5% mark lol. So, I'm just curious as to whether or not this is going to take all day :\.

If you're talking windows defrag, probably overnight the way you're talking. It takes a loooooooooooong time if you haven't done it in awhile.

It all depends on how much crap you have on your computer.

I don't know exactly, but probably about 75-80% loaded. The bar just moved one notch yay lol.

the disk cleanup varies a lot, my laptop takes 20 seconds but the family machine will take hours!
it can be a god idea to clean each bit individually; do the temp files and other sections separatley, this way you know its working.
like others have siad, the longer you leave it the more you need to wait!!!

My defrag took about 2 hours .
Defrag took me couple of hours when I did it for first time after 1.5 years.
I had only about 1/3 of all space used.
