Colony ?? We have so many Muslims here its not funny, They could cause mayhem at will, People think the reason they don't is once they are here most become too Americanized. Otherwise they would bring life here to a standstill in 4 days. Once they are here and they have access to all kinds of information finally, they figure it all out pretty quick, ( even if others can't ) These people aren't stupid.

Now no one is saying that the RAF didn't play a major role, Lancasters were an enormous help in bombing Germany, but even their numbers were dwarfed by the number of B-17's and B-24's that were used by the Americans. What planes frequently flew in escort with those bombers? P-51's. Those were also American planes. Furthermore, how many RAF bombers were used in bombing Japan? How many? Were those British B-29's? What really brought the Axis powers to their knees was bombing. Particularly FIRE-BOMBING. Far more civilian lives were lost from fire-bombing than from the two US Atom Bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That is what really broke Germany's morale and eliminated Japan's ability to manufacture - ANYTHING. When you can't stop the unending lines of B-17's (an example) rolling over your skies exterminating your cities at will, what's the point in continuing to fight?
Now with all of that said, did the United States win World War II on their own? No. Could they have? No. The golden question is, could the REST of the Allies have defeated the Axis powers without any help whatsoever from the United States?

Realistically, we probably wouldnt even get passed 1700's technology. IMO, I think that history would have turned a different path. They wouldnt treat everything like the Brits did, they would think differently, and would create more religious stories or something to make the land interesting etc. It would be different. Maybe we could have had a religious war, where the Europeans vs'ed the Middle East.
Really, there is no real way to say what would happen, because there are too many other things to think about, and what would happen with that. It is impossible to tell.

By everyone's own admittance, we can not tell the terrorists from the civilians in this war. They all dress like civilians. In fact, they use this tactic for specifically that reason.
