hahaha retard. you need to spend more time interpreting a graph and less time trying to prove how "smart" you are. points on the horizontal and players on the vertical. its saying 508 people with approximately 225000pts. the extra info on above the point indications are just showing how many people are in that range because it would be too hard reading the bar corresponding to that number.

However realize that each bar is the number of people that have between a and b number of points. So your percentile is not calculated by doing 100(1-(1/508)). As in, you are one out of 508 people in that category, it doesnt mean youre ranked 508th. You probably realized this but I'm just clarifying.

Because people want that percentile perspective (which isnt hard to calculate based on your rankings page here) I added maximum percentiles for most point categories in red.

If I understand the graphic right, instead of saying one of 6982, you could say you are in the top 5%. That sounds much better. Of course, it has been a while since I was at school, and I could be setting myself up to look like wanderlost.

Check out the edit. 6982 is the number of people that have between 100k and 125k points. Its not the total number of people that have more than 100k points. I did this so you could see how many people you are passing as you go from one point increment to another. I was curious if there were gaps in the leaderboard. I was thinking that maybe there are more colonels than lt. colonels, for example, because many people reach the colonel as a final goal. I was wrong though, the gaps dont really become dramatic until u get to around 250-300k points.

Its easy to go to your rank page and divide your global points rank by 299566 (total players) to find out what proportion of the population is ahead (or behind) you. Because you guys wanted to look at the graph and know what your percentile rank is in each point category, i went back to the raw data and also calculated the maximum percentile rank possible in each category. Make sense? Good! Enjoy!
