Computer Guy has LGA1366 rig, and 2 HD 7970s.

You got 3 HD 7970 on second best LGA1155 board (only Z68 model is better) with sandy bridge CPU.

Only decent SLi boards for AMD platforms are 990FX. And they are not cheap. Nforce boards are terrible and hacked SLi is kinda ghetto.

E: wait there is 970 chipset too, they go for 100€.

Yeah that's what I got told as well about the 990fx but I found out about the ASRock  970 extreme 4 which is about £60. Which I am most likely gonna buy.

What do you think panz?

Thats the best bang for buck board you can get. Should be good if you are not expecting massive CPU overclocking. 990FX doubles the price and in my opinion is waste of money as you'd be better off switching to Intel.

Spot on. I wasn't looking for a bells and whistles 8.2ghz quad SLIfire board.

Went ahead and retucked a lot of the wires, looks much cleaner now. Also decided to be real anal about being exact: I scanned the pages of my motherboard manual that had the pin diagrams for the various inputs, printed those out in a cropped form with just the diagrams and taped them to the inside of the side panel. Now I don't need to find that book whenever I begin unplugging and plugging in stuff, I just look at the door.

I considered that case, but it simply looked too corny once I thought about it.

Personally I prefer simple case looks, not into the space ship look so much (hence I got the 650D).

I'll be honest with you, I was really iffy on buying it, too. It took me a number of months to actually purchase it and I was constantly changing my mind on the colors. Now having it under my desk, it looks really sleek. In my opinion, it's the best big-tower you can get for the money. Above this, you can get things like SilverStone's RV cases (with the 90° rotated motherboards) or the Corsair Obsidian and it's other brethren of wild cases. The only other cases at this price point that I would consider are Corsair's 600T, which is so large as to almost be a big-tower.

You have the largest selection in the mid-tower class but as soon as you settle on getting a proper big-tower, the choices of decent cases gets very thin.

Well, price-wise, it's a fine case. Just wasn't the one for me after all.

And it's wonderful that we have the choice to find exactly what we want, isn't it? What did you decide on, if you don't mind my asking?

Finally found sometime to put my RMAed 7970 in there. I know that last pic is crap, but basically fully loaded the system and highest temp for gpu was 44 and around 34 for the other two; the cpu was low 70s and high 60s.
