Nope. No effort to hack it onto XP has prevailed either. Sorry to burst your bubble...
Okey, that's bad... I don't have money for Vista either... Linux?...

Anyway, lemme get some question answered please:

Does the 9000 Series work with XP at all?

If they do, is it even good to bother buying one, if XP only takes DirectX 9.0c?

else if not, what cards do you recommend? I was thinking of 8800GT since it's the best card out now, but what about ATI Radeon?
8800Ultra is the best card out now tbh...

And the 8800GTS (G92) is better than the 8800GT (G92)

No it isn't. The GTS G92 beats the overclocked GTX in all benchmarks.

If you were to get anything right now, it would be a the 8800GTS G92. By far the best card out for your money.

8800GTX is 5% faster than G92 GTS 512MB. If I were going to buy a new gfx card, it would be G92 GTS. But I'll soon get a second hand GTX. It costed the same as G92 GTS so it was better deal.

The motherboard, CPU and Ram costed almost 600,00 so at the end of the month, the case is coming, a HUGE fucking Lian-Li case and when it's off, I lay blanket over it so no dust gets in.

EngineerFox, that's very... brave of you to do

Seriously, having your hardware out in the open like that.. It just seems like too many things could go wrong.

Yeah, now all you have to do is get rid of that god-awful looking CRT.

Thanks. The only cables you can see are the wheel cables (3!) and I think I might have just found a way to combat it so that you only see one cable which can be neatly tucked away.

This CRT is awsm none the less.
