out of curiosity, what would a chest x-ray be looking for specifically?
edito: i figured they would have looked at the abdomen area for stomach ulcers, liver issues, intestine issues, etc.

Bullets lodged in your spine.
Concealed weapons at an airport.
Alien lifeforms about to burst out of your chest.
you should have your head examined.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

you celebrate with Glenmorangie, Glinlivet, or MacCallan, and warm yourself up with Laphroaig or Bowmore. Lagavulin on a particularly cold night.
its all that was available at work. The Macallan is at home where it belongs.
Happy Cinco de Mayo
have tickets to the halos vs. yankees, then playing two rounds of golf tomorrow. Happy Cinco de Mayo indeed!
Is fireball a girl's drink? I like that it doesn't burn going down and I can drink it straight.

I mix it with apple cider in the fall.
Had a couple different Granges last week, some Glen Moray, Sullivan's Cove, etc. etc. etc. at a tasting.
Drove my car 5 mins later and tried to dodge an RBT. Got approached, did a breath test and was told I was fine. WTF?!

This anecdote doesn't belong in the Official Drunk Thread.Jaekus wrote:

its just a drink for the masses. First aftershock, then tuaca, then Jager, now fireball.SuperJail Warden wrote:

Having a Glen Moray Speyside Single Malt 16 year old. Nice toffee character with a peat finish.
i ended my drought by visiting the only distillery in Utah today. i bought 2 bottles of simple syrup (they were steeped, my wife like 'em) a bottle of scotch (Glenlivet) a bottle of rye (87% rye, 13% barley mashbill) and a Canadian (crown royal, a blended that makes me happy). Whiskey Weekend, here's to the end of a two year experiment in sobriety. i have incidentally ingested wine the last 2 years, i keep a rack of different varietals for cooking. about a year ago i caught a buzz on some portabello caps cooked in a nice Bordeaux, because the heat wasn't high enough to burn off the alcohol.
it's good to be back, and i've pledged my liver and spleen to science. Cheers!

I am in Miami. I have just discovered these

I have never seen these at the Jersey shore. I will bring the knowledge back with me.

coronarita, pretty much a brain freeze margarita with a couple of bottles of corona shoved in it. I haven't actually tasted one yet, but I've seen a lot of people drinking them.
