Let's judge people for their values, ethics and morality, not for their political and religious beliefs. First we should learn some words.
Intolerance + Ignorance + Prejudice + Hatred = Idiot People (not all the ingredients are necessary to make an idiot. If you find the 4 of them, then you are for sure in the presence of an idiot).
Let's define all these factors in this equation.
Intolerance: is the lack of ability or willingness to tolerate something. In a social or political sense, intolerance is the absence of tolerance for differing viewpoints or the people who express those viewpoints. As a social construct, it is open to interpretation. For example, some define intolerance as an expressed, negative or hostile attitude toward another's views, even if no action is taken to squelch such opposing views or silence those who hold them. Tolerance, in contrast, can mean "disagreeing peaceably." Emotion is a factor which may differentiate intolerance from respectful disagreement.
Does it sound familiar?
Ignorance: is a lack of knowledge. Ignorance is also the state of being ignorant or uninformed. Another definition states that ignorance is the choice to not act or behave in accordance with regard to certain information in order to suit ones own needs or beliefs.
Does it sound familiar?
Prejudice: Interpersonal hostility that is directed against individuals based on their membership in a minority group.
Does it sound familiar?
Hatred: is an emotion of intense revulsion, distaste, enmity, or antipathy for a person, thing, or phenomenon, generally attributed to a desire to avoid, restrict, remove, or destroy the hated object. Hatred is also among the most common emotions that humans experience. It can be based on fear of an object or past negative consequences of dealing with that object.

Now let's see who aren't idiots:
Any person who respects the beliefs of another individual even if those are the opposite to his beliefs.
It doesn't sound too familiar, does it?
“Prejudices are what fools use for reason.” Voltaire.
