The title says it all. Just as soon as I click the "Join Server" button on online multi, I instantly crash to desktop with no errors given.

You're stuck in a time warp from mid-2005 and therefore using patch 1.3?
That was fixed by using Auto-Join and letting it do its thing...

While I appreciate the sarcasm and failed attempt at humor, no...I'm not using patch 1.3. I'm on patch 1.41.
Regardless. This is NOT the "Join GAME" CTD. That is a totally separate issue and has nothing to do with the issue I'm having.
So, just to reiterate and elaborate...I am crashing when I click the "Join SERVER" button. Specifically, I find a server I want to play on, and just as soon as I try to join it, I CTD. The map never even starts loading.
