Sorry if this has already been posted but, don't ya think it'd be awesome if they made the entire battlefield 1942 series and Vietnam run off of the bf2 engine like 2142... I'd get it... I think it'd be smart to have it all run off of the same engine, makes it much easier for compatibility etc...

i think i have read something like this before but yeah i think that would be awesome if they re-made 1942 running on the 2142 engine and there was a ranking system and points and all that.
If you want a WWII mod for BF2, check out Forgotten Hope. It's supposed to be released sometime this summer and it will definetly be worth the wait.

Another group is XWW2 who made a terrific mod for BF42, 1 hit 1 kill stuff, with more realistic physics and equipment, and they've been putting a WW2 mod for BF2 together for about, oh, forever. I only bought this damn game waiting for this mod, and I'm now nearly 80,000 points in vanilla and STILL WAITING!!!!!
