Very nice. I was looking at the RockRiver AR for myself not too long ago but I decided to use the extra money to buy a new car (95 Integra GSR if anyone cares).

But of course i still bought a gun

I dont have the kind of long distance accuracy as the AR but it was cheeper and just as much fun and probably more fun under 200yards.

Great Thread!!! It really has shown a true range of ignorance.

I used to shoot ground squirrels on my uncles cattle ranch - his cattle frequently broke their legs in the burrows so he paid us 25 cents for every tail that we brought home.

Whoever said they shoot coyotes "because everyone knows they're bad" or whatever, needs to learn a little bit more about them. Not that I know where you live but it is typically very detrimental to a habitat to thin the top predator. Do you know what happened in Yellowstone when they reintroduced gray wolves?

And yeah Kil I hear ya when you say you've become "overly cautious amongst this bunch". Mostly kids and jar-heads is my guess - bad combination.
