- What do you think the next BF game will be set in? (I don't mean BFBC)
I reckon a re-done version of Desert Combat would be great. But to add to it they should have more choices of weapons and more armies - UK, USA, Germany, France, China, Japan, Russia, Iraq, Australia etc... Each army does have their own unique vehicles, kits and weapons.
I want something with jungles. REAL jungles, as in "oh snap, was that a soldier or a tree I saw?" or a place where ghillie suits would actually help. Maybe some sort of Vietnam revisited type of thing (albeit with modern weapons and stuffs [gotta have my M16 and M203 combo])?
As said before, WWII is far from being done. With a newer engine, new maps, and new weapons, it would be an awesome game. They only touched the surface with BF1942. 90% of BF1942 was completely unrealistic, and I think it may be time for an update.cheshiremoe wrote:

Frontlines: Fuel of War not BF3 but this is what BF3 should be like. Its also about 20-30 years ahead of present time.

I think they'll go back to present day combat that is a bit ahead of our time. More abilities/unlocks, and a vaster array of vehicles.
They will do modern day combat with 10x the unlocks & awards of 2142 with theaters of war mirroring present day conflicts & possible scenarios. Should be out by Christmas "BF3 1337 edition", it will get delayed though till June 2008 but it will still have the red tag/bug.

BF2: Korea - no chopper whores, but some plane support (cannon runs!!).
BF1982 - Cold War runs hot (I.e. World in Conflict FPS version).
The concept overall of BF2 is great, the execution could be polished. But they are never going to just rerelease BF2 with new code .... would they? .... naaahhhh
