Did he have a chance to say why he turned up unannounced in the first place? It was on the news that he arrived out of the blue this morning.
Not in the Green Zone! Thats the part we have under control. According to my President.
Yes, everything is Bush's fault. Can't you come up with something more original? It's getting boring.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

Are 'the voices' talking to you again Stingray? Nobody has started Bush-bashing in this thread ...yet. The green zone is supposedly under control and that has been conveyed to the media.Stingray24 wrote:

Just think about it. Thats the Green Zone that just got attacked. Thats our troops home at the moment. Thats where Dick Cheney almost got popped a month ago. And now this. Call it Bush bashing or whatever. It doesn't change the current reality.Stingray24 wrote:

Yes, it's their home, but still within a warzone.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The insurgency in Iraq is "in the last throes," Vice President Dick Cheney says, and he predicts that the fighting will end before the Bush administration leaves office.
Warzone indeed.
Perhaps if we had let our military kick some ass like they were designed to from June 20th until now the fighting would have ended. But we're too busy prosecuting soldiers for doing their job in a warzone to get the job done.
You didn't really think it through when you typed this sentence, did you?Stingray24 wrote:

It's that cunt face bitch Bush's fault. Motherfucker.
Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Not sure what you're getting at, apollo. Do you think soldiers can do their job effectively in a warzone if their decisions are consistently second guessed by those outside the warzone?
I could be wrong. But when I saw the vid, he looked like he did not want to move because he just shit his pants.
No, I don't.Stingray24 wrote:

However, I don't think Lynndie England and Charles Graner were 'doing their job in a warzone to get the job done'.
Do you not see the irony in 'spreading democracy' using brutality and human rights violations? You can't just justify that kind of activity by saying 'you need to do it to get the job done'.Stingray24 wrote:

I don't believe the US is spreading democracy by using brutality or violating anyone's human rights, but you're entitled to your opinion. I'm surprised you can't see how dangerous it would be to hesitate on the battlefield as a soldier and not respond to enemy fire.Braddock wrote:

lol. Please tell me where the fuck he said everything is Bush's fault. He pointed out the fact that an apparently high ranking UN leader was almost killed today, in the green zone, which is odd because it's supposed to be the most secure place in the country.Stingray24 wrote:

People like you hear one little criticism, and think "OMGZ WHY DO THEY ALWAYS BLAME BUSH". No offense, but it's almost as annoying as a 5 year old whining. His critcism is 100 percent legitimate.
lmfao. Where the hell do you get your knews? I guess you're under the impression that because a few soldiers are being prosecute (odd enough, by fellow members of the military) you seem to think the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff is doing nothing but going after the soldiers serving under them.Stingray24 wrote:

BTW, combatting terrorism does not just involve "kicking ass". In fact, some generals believe the military should only be used for 20 percent of terrorism prevention. The rest is economic, international support, winning the hearts and minds. It's this belief and the strategy around it that has failed miserably and will probably be the reason the war in Iraq turns out to be a US defeat.
he doesn't have too, I got the just of it.......................apollo_fi wrote:

It's not so much on the battlefield it's more the cruel, immoral treatment given to the prisoners of war that you capture and the US's consistent ignorance of generally accepted human rights.Stingray24 wrote:

What else can I say????
Feel free to laugh, Spearhead. I choose not to since I have some good friends who have already been on the receiving end of an IED. I'm sure those who set that bomb are very open to have their heart and mind won.

Quite a funny attempt at flame bating but unfortunately for you it is an accepted fact that the Republic of Ireland is an entirely independent State with no allegiance to the British empire whatsoever.usmarine2007 wrote:
