Serious Talk: I believe that something that causes people to pay $75k for raggedy old shirts for qualifies, thus does debate over said subject matter. Particularly when something may spawn murderous rampage(s) throughout a fan-base with already (admittedly) questionable psychological stability.

Sorry to be contrary, but I think it is a pretty good choice. I just hope it isn't 110 minutes of Matt Damon doing a William Shatner impoersonation. Let him play the role as if nobody ever played it before. Also, with J.J. Abrams in the Directors chair, it could be interesting.

how can you say nemesis ruined the franchise? It ended it because a number of the cast on TNG were tired of doing it or getting to old to. I think it ended it on a good note too, it closed the story very well. Hell, it even tied up some loose ends of voyager with Janeway's appearance.

What did you not like about nemesis????

If you watched the deleted on Nemesis, you'll see the automatic seatbelts on the replacement chairs in the bridge. They removed that, though. Guess people still wanted to see amazing flying unpadded crewmen.

I liked a couple of the earlier Enterprise bits, then lost interest. The intro song made me twitch, but the accidental ignition of an atmosphere was worth it.
