Had an interesting thing happen with the last CD that I burned using Sonic......

When I made the CD, I put 21 tracks on it, and it had about 6:30 minutes of free space on the CD.  So imagine my surprise when I start playing the CD and the last 18 tracks on it have the ends chopped off.  Anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds of audio....just gone.

Any thoughts?  Ideas?  Suggestions?  Uneducated / ignorant responses?

Was it sort of time limit to the burn, and the last songs exceeded that limit?

with Sonic it will not let you burn the CD if it is over the limit, until you delete enough space.  My guess is you downloaded incomplete songs or there was some sort of error writing the CD.

None of the songs were lengthy....and all were complete songs.

Thanks for the ideas, though!
