Japanese rock... what do you guys think?

My friend (from japan) gave me a CD of this band called "The Pillows" a couple years ago and i never listened to it. Now he's moved away and i found the cd today. So, i listened to it as a goodbye type thing. The band sings almost every song entirley in japanese, but they are really good with the guitars. The singing can be kinda funny, but i like the music, what do you guys think.

It isn't the greatest (J-rock), but it isn't the worst. I've seen both good and bad of both English rock and Japanese Rock. And even when I don't understand a word they're saying, if the actual music is good, I'll still listen to it.

I've loved The Pillows for years now. I like that song but the video is pretty bad. They have much better stuff.

Here's one of their better songs AMVed to the show that made them popular (Furi Curi).
