I really hope they rethink the disabling of titan movement. Titan mode loses its uniqueness if you cannot move the titans.

It's server-side, meaning its now at admin discretion. I'm not too worried to be honest, but it will prevent that gayness that is titan-bumper cars.

Also: downloading teh patch! I love my UMass T1 connection...

Yeah, what's the use in playing titan if you can't easily pod out to silos and hit people with titan guns?

But they also optimized the titans so there will not be nearly as much lag, titan mode is boring if the titans don't get moved.

Hey, I noticed that when I get this issue, and upon returning to that server, it's almost completely empty. I believe everyone gets disconnected from the server at once when this issue happens.

It could be a server-side problem. Perhaps losing connection with th EA stats servers for too long, or something?

Your university line probably has a whole lot more than a single Trunk-1 connection.

Each T1 provides 1500kbit/s up and down, and generally premium (not "Extreme") service for the majority of North American ISPs provide 5Mbit/s (5000kbit) down, and between 384kbit and 512kbit up. But it varies.

What you're probably sitting behind is an OC-3, T3 (which is really a bunch of T1s), or something else using fiber.

In short? Awesome connection, dude.

In theory titans can still be moved but the idiot admins are going to be more concerned with preventing a tiny bit of lag than stopping titan fun.

Yep you have "time until punish" countdown (15 sec) on the top of the screen. Once it reaches zero BOOM you are dead.
And SAAW locks on every transport.
