How can the speed of light be a standard, when it is stated as ~300,000 km/s. Einstein himself says that the speed slows down time so if the time is slowed to let's say half (in a half light speed) the speed actually is still 300,000 (because a second in half light speed is 0.5 seconds). I think that has a bit of a conflict is not a standard, and that causes the E=MC² must be wrong.
