Dunno if this has been posted but, when I log into BF2 it takes forever to connect to server or something, I have to wait for it to connect to a play now server the press esc during load, so I can go to another server.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

lol "play now" is a piece of crap. Find your own servers on the list .

I don't use the Play Now Servers, it just takes forever to load my account, and when it does it just drops me in play now, thats how I know Im logged in.

theres two shortcuts to bf2. one says "battlefield 2" the other says "play bf2 online now!"

you're clicking on the second one. don't say you aren't, because you are.

you want to click the first one. this will take you, after login, to bfhq.

Here's the first thing to try:

Once you log in to BF2 and see the menu, go to your "favorite servers" and clear everything.  By doing this, you will find that the delay will be reduced from 2-3 minutes down to 5 seconds.
