my father was in the 101st Airborne Division/ Delta Company/ i think 502...went to Vietnam and the first day in the field, he was 5th in line to become leader of his sqaud...at the end of the day, he was the leader of his squad

BTW: one day, they were out roaming the jungle when they came across a bunker complex up on the side of a mountain...they where below it (not a great place to be) and when they did their initial charge, he was side by side 5 of his best friends...they all got shot besides him on that charge, true story

and i dont know if this is spread throughout the 101st, but one day Alpha Company 502 was in a valley in Vietnam, and they were coming up on a dead end (they didnt know of course) and at that dead end, was 3 bunker complexes....when they came in range of those bunkers, all of Alpha company, 150 men, died without any time to react......and my dad's company went there to clear those bunkers out, and did

they piled up the dead gooks and left a sign in Vietnamese: "Who ever comes near us, your Mother F-ing asses are ours."

Active Army MP Officer have been in since 1993. Did 9.5 as an enlisted MP then switched over to the dark side. Been most everywhere the most fun was the four years I spent in Panama. Picking up chicas off the Wench Bench @ Ft Clayton was quite an experiance.... ahh to be young again.

Why is the F35 in the game and not the F22?  Didn't the F22 get the nod for production over that single engine VTOL?  Or did the USN pick it up?  If they are trying to keep to the USMC/Navy equipment the F15 shouldn't be in the game.

I'm not in the military, but last saturday i was talking to a mate on MSN who is at the Norwegian Royal Guard School at the moment, training to be a guardsman for a year. (very much like the German system here too).

Been talking to him for a while, then he said, "i think i'll play a bit of BF" So aparantly the Royal Guard has computers with BF1942 (i asked, they didn't have BF2) for them to play on.

4 years ARNG (Army National Guard) - two in California ARNG, two in Arizona ARNG. Was a 71L (Administration Specialist) for the two in CA, and an 88M (Wheeled Vehicle Driver) in AZ ( I was driving PLS, similiar to a hemmet, but bigger).

Went to Basic at Ft. Benning, GA (Home of the infantry), and literaaly did most of my training within sight of the jump towers ( I was on Sand Hill). We also had regular interactions in the feild with Rangers in training (They would often be the "enemy" during FTX).
