There was a DICE conferecene in Stockholm recently and they said that they want to improve BF2 now. I doubt that they can improve the game without a new patch, hence there'll be one. :>some1said wrote:

Rumor has it that there might be one.
There may be one, my guess it will be something like 1.6 for cs. The final patch, try to fix as much as they can, but even if they fuck up and get 1.3 CTDs back they won't do anything about it.

I heard from somebody who says their brother works for dice, that a new patch with a new chinese jungle map will be released.

I hope there is a jungle map. I loved Songhua and BFV because it was all jungle. I hope it is real dense jungle so it is all CQC and stuff.petermassingale wrote:

I do hope there will be. The G36 needs rebalancing, AA is still suicide, and a new map would be nice.
I talked to God last night and he said they will be releasing it in few months.. He also told me that the patch will be complete failure and that will end bf2
I wouldn't get your hopes up guys. While you may presume there'll be a new patch, I wouldn't speculate on what it'll include or else you could be very disappointed. If there's a new map, great...if not, there's plenty of good ones to play still

Plus they add new stuff like a few new skins/pla citymap/new awards/new vehicles....etc
