A company called Luxiium Lighting & Technology recently announced a keyboard with programmable LED back lighting for each individual key (branded as Luxeed). I didn't like it much though.....looked like it was made with chicks in mind.
Recently, they just announced a black version which has my fingertips tingling in anticipation at the mere thought. I like to game in a pitch black room which can be frustrating without a back lit keyboard, this would seem to fit the bill nicely. Each key is programmable with one of 512 colors (including not lit). This would be nice as you could create profiles for different games where only usable keys are lit, and then assign different colors to various functions (such as weapon keys red, comm keys green, Etc...) Hue and brightness are also adjustable and profiles can be downloaded, shared, and switched on the fly.
