I have purchaed 2x copies of 2142 (retail DVD edition) for myself and wife ,we played for about 2 months but did not get into the game, so we havedecided to sell it on ebay .

The question I have is, if i sell the game will the person whom purchases our game will they be able to install and use it or is the serial locked to an account ?

As far as I know anyone can use it as long as key is original only thing is you cant play in same server with same key ( but thats not your problem as you selling the game )

"I think" you may have to give him the names of the accounts, so once he's in he can just delete your soldiers and make his own.

The serial is locked to that account you first use when signing in. So when you want to sell it you have sell it with the account too..

He can then either delete or continue on your char...
