I saw a poll like this in the bf2 vanilla forum about the medic kit, so I figured a SF one might be interesting... So which do you prefer when you are playing the SEALs? The scar-h kicks ass imo. Same power, bigger clip, and a red dot scope. I just wish it was the unlock for the assault kit instead of that crappy F2000.

Err, the G3 does 40dmg per shot, ScarH does 34.

Scar-H is decent, but the G3 beats it hands down, any map, all the time - every time.
It also loses out vs the 101 and 47, whereas the G3 is the closest competitor to them. I also find the H is not very good at long range, whereas the G3 is.
I only use the H when I want a change.

The SCAR-L is sick. The SCAR-H sucks. The G3 is incredible. And the F2000 owns all.

I hate the SCAR-L, but when I'm playing a SEALS map I'll usually play assault just to get the SCAR-H.

G3 for me. Only downside to it is the 20 shot clip. And it doesn't matter how many shots it takes to kill somebody, damage is so much more important. You know how many times I've walked away from a fight with one bar left? The G3 would've killed me but the Scar-H made me live. However, I still love the F2000, I wish you could use it on SF.

the 20 shot clip in the g3 makes that thing almost useless for me... i tend to shoot alot at a guy to make sure he's good and dead, so group engagements are out of the question for the g3. as for the f2000, i can't figure that damn thing out. i can't aim it, and i'm all thumbs with the GL. i'll put a target right in the middle of the crosshairs and miss everything. the scar-h does it for me just because i can aim it better, and i like hand grenades better than the GL.

Graduated sights aren't meant to be used like the regular crosshair. Experiment around with it in single player trying to hit a stationary rock. Once you can get close to it, try hitting some bots. Move up from there.

Definately the SCAR-H. The G3 is for Vanilla people who don't use the stock weapons or don't have the F2000. SCAR-H is hands down "the win."

I actually love both weapons, however when I have the option to use the SCAR-H I'll use it. I like the G3 a lot, but I just like the look of the SCAR, and the 30 round mag doesn't hurt either. I'm waiting for Fabrique Nationale to bring out the civilian legal version of the SCAR so I can get the L model and deck it out with goodies. Summing SCAR FTW!!!

True...but he said they are just as powerful when they actually aren't If someone is on 80health, the G3 can kill in 2, the SCAR will require 3.
But actually the SCAR-H requires 5 shots against armoured, G3 only requires 4.
Well, according to the BF2s wiki comparison http://wiki.bf2s.com/weapons/comparison

Regardless of the stats of each weapon, it is also down to learning how to use the weapons. For me, I find the G3 more accurate especially at range, gets me more kills, and most importantly, more kills per clip.
Thats just me and down to how I play.

I have to admit, Im surprised just how close this poll is, with the G3 winning by all of 2 votes....
In all my time on Gator, most SEALs I see playing as assault use the G3 and not the SCAR-H. Interesting.

I only ever use it on Iron Gator (because I can never find Devil's Perch servers), so accuracy and bullet capacity is more important than power.

Then again, I'll always pick up an AK-47/101 when i find one
