Speedlink Medusa 5.1

BUT

will it work with my Creative Audigy 4? (headset = 5.1!)

You will (obviously) have to unplug your speakers to plug in your headset. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work though..

Or, goto radio shack and get 5 sets of 1x2 1 inch jacks splits. You can have both your headset and speakers hooked up.

Best headdsets I have ever had. When turned on, the bass in these things is amazing! I feel like someone realy is walking beside me when playing BF2/CSS.

The only minus, is the fact that they are pretty fragile. If you drop it on the florr several times, the sound quality will decrease pretty dramaticly. But, this is only if you drop it from your head to the floor a few times. Desk to floor is ok

I recomend it.

The question is simple.. I do NOT want my speakers hooked up to my PC, I havent used them in over a year! All I want to know is if this medusa 5.1 headset, which obviously has a different plug than a standard 3.5, will plug into my sound card.

The Icemats have a 7.1 virtual usb card that comes with it, but to be honest it is an excellent set. VERY comfortable, the best sound quality on CSS I have heard short of buying a fatal1ty, which I'm sure would sound even better with this headset, and you can hear things with them on very well.

Be careful with the medusa, there might arise some problems for you when entering the game and talking to others. A clanmate of mine once used a Medusa 5.1 and all we heard from him when he entered BF was a real terrible noise, loud as hell without him even speaking.
Dunno if there are some fixes for that, though.

depending if you feel rich or not..

Razer Ac-1 Gaming Audio Headset

i have that headset, and its ultimate. no ifs no buts 10/10

goes even better with the Razer Barracuda but im happy with the X-Fi atm.
