Can you please remove the request that they make the G36E weaker, as I have been having trouble finding any medics as it is. Unless I am playing Karkand of Mashtuur, there are very few medics(0-2 out of 64 players) most of the time. It is just not a very popular class anymore. Besides, most people think the AK-101 is better http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=60945 If anything they should nerf that.
you know, i think the original had some good points, and some weak points. question is, how do you make everyone happy?

Post updated. Jeez that's a lot of typing, but I feel like this is essentially the culmination of all the problems of BF2. If the rest of posts are just content/gameplay changes, I think I'm going to edit the thing to make it look more professional, make a final post on a variety of BF2 sites, then post it on the EA forums and e-mail EA and DICE with the suggestions.

I couldn't agree more about the engineer repair points. In addition I would like a meter while in a vehicle and repairing a command asset. Just like when I'm in a jeep next to a friendly tank, I get a meter telling me how the repair work is going.
Also, I have noticed an engineering bug. Frequently while repairing a (Yellow/ completely destroyed) UAV by hand (not in a vehicle)I will find myself, apparently not being very effective at repairing. I will hear the noise of the wrench turning, see the wrench turning, have the double yellow circle indicating contact with the equipment, and NOTHING happens. This has happened more than a few times, and adds about 50% (time) to the total repair job. All for ONE point.
oh, and a magic button just for me that blows up any jet bothering me.

That's because the wrench has "Fuel" so to speak. After wrenching a UAV that's been hit with, say, four packs of C4... it'll go down to one bar of "fuel", afterwards it repairs at around 1 bar of health every 2 seconds I'd say. Just let the thing "Refuel" by not repairing anything and it'll be quick again.williedyna wrote:

Lol i dont like too say this but i agree ... EA dont care now al they want is for us too al go play 2142 so they can win award's.. They washed there hands of bf2... if they really cared they would make 1.5 - 1.2
I want there to be a second chat for people actully typing. I hate "Get ammo, here!" etc... in my chat. I would love for those to appear above and below them, regular chat to be there. That way, I might actully get some useful info from that.
Sorry if this has been posted, as I'm sure everybody else has the same recurring problem but it MUST be fixed. As I get killed many times for it!
- After the reloading animation on an assault rifle/ machine gun/ ANY gun most people assume its ok to switch to another weapon, but THEN find out, when they switch back to their machine gun etc., it RELOADS again....This really erks me, because I CLEARLY saw my guy reload the gun, and cock it.
-Another issue I have found with the M11-87 shotgun. If I have 2-3 shells left, start reloading, and an enemy appears...I should be able to just press the FIRE button to start shooting at him, but I have to wait for it to load all 7 shells in order to begin to fire...Is there a way around this? Or is it a shitty glitch?

I'd like to repeat myself in saying that the G36E is an M16++ and should be changed such that it's still a good gun, but not godlike anymore.

Oh and the other attack jets bombs drop each pair fine, but the Fantan has this long delay. You have to wait like a full whole second before you can drop the second pair of bombs, which makes it annoying, which I don't know why it does that and the other attack jets don't. Yea, and it needs to fly a little more manuvarble.
if this has been posted sry. but personally i would like to see them fix ( if possible) twhen you jump out of a vehicle you tend to get out on the front side and get run over, causing you to die. now id like to see if EA/DICE could make it so you could jump out on the side, like in reality.
No, he raises a valid point. A sole AT soldier cannot take down a tank at full health before getting killed. The co-ax gun and the splash damage of the main gun simply make it too dangerous; he WILL find you before he dies.genius_man16 wrote:

Realism-wise, it's wrong. A single ATGM will take out an MBT in one shot.
Balance-wise, it's probably a good thing. Forces support from either a medic, another AT guy, or a friendly tank.
Of course, I feel the main role of AT is to destroy lighter vehicles, and merely divert tanks into a defensive posture rather than full-out agression.
Especially on jalalabad, where they operate in pairs. It eventually forces them to waste artillery or a UAV on you, or actually do the unthinkable and dismount if you're properly hidden.
The way the game mechanics are, for example, sometimes when the usual exit position of a vehicle is blocked by an obstacle, the game mechanics will simply allow you to exit from a different spot. If you want it "like in reality," then you would think twice before bailing out of a fast moving vehicle, regardless if you can bail, hit the ground and roll Hollywood style.11sog_raider wrote:

Similarly, I've experience that problem by intentionally trying to run the enemy down, but I guess due to varied velocity- doesn't crush them like it should, but only pushes them! >_<
[Patch 1.5 Suggestion] (taken from an earlier post)
Fix CTD when cratering into the ground on foot without using the parachute. (Happens often while falling down adjacent to buildings or terrain.)

The current tv range is 450m, I'm sure it's based on Sharqi where anything more than 450m would let you hit either pad from the opposite pad, screwing gameplay.
