Order one from Singapore. My bro got me an N96 for less than $600, unlocked and ready to go a month or three after it was released there. As opposed to Darwin where they cost around $1200 if not on a plan.
Yeah, I want a N97... found it for $600 on the net.... $1300 in store. I'm just unsure if I want to drop that much cash on something in case it turns out not to be legit... hmmm

Ok, So I have found a Legit Aussie (iknorite) website with N97's for $588 . Currently checking it all out, will probably order tomorrow. I'll let you guy know how it turns out if you like, because their prices are fantastic.

I've had my N96 for about 9 months. It did not stand up to rigorous use and treatment.

My N96 takes both.

If you do order, make sure you get the right kind of 'next G'. Other countries use different frequencies on the network and call it next G when here they only function on the regular GSM network.
