It is an important job, and it is a tough job. However, this is the reason that he SHOULDN'T have been elected in the first place. Creating an unreal national debt, as well as turning unprecedented international support of the US against us, are not actions becoming of the most powerful man in the world.

I admire President Bush for putting up with all the shit he gets. People only talk negative on him because the insane looney liberals are obsessed with spreading their propaganda on the media. Because of Bush, Iran has no money to make nuclear weapons. Our country refuses to buy oil from them, and we have encouraged other big countries like China, Japan, Britain to not buy oil from Iran either so that they cannot fuel their nuclear program. It's stuff like this that Bush doesn't get enough credit for.

Agreed. Stop giving him so much pressure, and he might do something good!

I avoid discussing politics mostly due to all the hard headed people who only argue and refuse to discuss things maturely, but if people hate him so much, they shouldn't have voted for him. He was elected TWO times so he must have been doing something right...

No-one said being the President was an easy job. That's why there are elections so that the most capable candidate gets the job. In the last two elections this just hasn't happened.

He got in the Presidency through more the merits of those working for him/related to him than his own qualities. He has since proven that he is the wrong man for the job. Just because he is the President, dosn't mean he deserves to be. This is generally the reason I have no respect for him, President of the most powerful nation on earth or not.

ok since thats what people seem to be really hung up on, let me see if i can explain it to you.

first, we were attacked on 9-11 by terrorists.
second, these terrorists come from, mainly the middle east.
third, if we do not make ourselves available to attack in theyre backyard, they WILL attack us here. dont believe me? look at israel.
thats it plain and simple. it comes down to national security.

1 second so because a small group not a country attacked you, You will go to a country kill 600 000 innocent people and lose more troops in the process then the amount you lost in the actual attack? You killed more of their innocents then the terrorists killed yours? Who is the terrorist again?

Thats silly.
600000 is a bogus number and your not being intellectually honest. We lost more troops in a month in WW2 than in we have in more than four years of combat in the middle east.

Iraq was never about terrorism... It was about removing a dictator who may have WMD's and he may be capable to use them. Now the mission for Iraq is to stabilize the country. When your in a situation like Iraq, you never know who's the enemy or not.

Sorry that was done by a bunch of people looking around for death certificates and their studies have been known to be close to under a percentage of under 10%. You can easily deny facts like you should since 10% of 600 000 is 60 000 meaning 540 000 makes no difference does it? I dont guess you live or have any friends in Iraq which are civlilians? No you watch fox news all day and listen to their bullshit. The job of the Marines will never be accomplished so in a few years when you are still fighting this war of terror ill be sure to laugh at you. Bush is now provoking Iran, Syria. Your troops are stretched to the limits. Enjoy drafting when you go to Iraq ill pray for you. Tell me what its like when you get back. Do you know much troops who have been there? Most dont even beleive in the cause anymore but are just fighting to save themselves and their friends.

And even no matter what amount of deaths your government says what 100 000? And they did say 3000 troops. The US has killed 33 times more innocents then died in 9/11. The US is the greater terrorist, just on a much larger global scale as well as being the biggest threat to the world as we know it.

We found wmd's, just not in the quantity that was expected!

btw I wonder what was in the endless caravans of trucks headed for the Syrian border before the war started??? wonder if you guys remembered that little blip on the news when that was happening. . . .
