NASA is on the poll due to thier unlimited budget for space travel which more times than not yield little to no results of any significance. Hence, NASA=waste of billions upon billions.Dezerteagal5 wrote:
Shutdown NASA? WTF Nasa is awesome!!
I said the huge wall between Canada and Mexico. It would make the world much better.
Plus, all the best smoke comes from Canada lately.LT.Victim wrote:
Why a Wall Bordering Canada too?
That would be a waiste of money..
Do you have any idea how big the border is?
New metals, crystals and films, new fabrics, medicines and medical devices, detailed Earth maps, better foods, improved weather studies, Hundreds of thousands of people have their jobs linked one way or the other to NASA, Cellular tech, TV tech, oh yea and Velcro. Disbanding NASA is disbanding a humans natural desire to explore. For the most part people have no clue on how much we have benifited from NASA and the improvements to our quality of life here on earth.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

I would challenge half your post. Make a NASA topic. We can discuss. Back to the poll.Kmarion wrote:

I'm not American, but from a 'rest of the world' perspective I'd like to see the US balance their budget. US budget deficits only put more pressure on the rest of the G8.
Who was that great president you used to have who got rid of all national debt? Was it Jackson?
That's not just a product of our poor healthcare system... that's also a product of our horrible legal system. Doctors have to carry so much malpractice insurance it's sickening.Elamdri wrote:
I'm not exactly a proponent of Universal Healthcare, but yesterday it costed my mom $500 to take me to see the doctor. That just isn't reasonable. Something has to be done to fix the lack of healthcare for people in the US.
It's called Health Insurance; get some.Elamdri wrote:

That's funny because if I want to go see the doctor it costs me €40, of which I get half back in tax relief. If they send me to hospital I don't even have to spend a red cent either. There is also a cap on how much you spend on medicine after which the government pays all of the rest! And what you did pay for, medicine-wise, you can claim back 42% in tax relief. W00t! Enjoy being shafted by pharmaceuticals!!Psycho wrote:

By the way, I think your mom needs to take you to an English tutor, not the doctor.
