Zerg was fun if you didn't do rushes, it became a pretty gay tactic, like Earth 2160 Postomer Fighters.

Protoss was always a classic... and the Terran were a fun challenge.

Terren were the best casue they were the most well rounded, and had good counters to the protoss and zerg stuff, i.e. EMP, Nuke, Goliath.

No...usually its not just Nuclear Launch Detected!... its NuNuNuNuNuNuNuNuclear Launch Detected! and all you see in you base are a bunch of red dots everywhere.
And mass Battlecruisers can definitely win out when upgraded to the max.
Thing is...I still play Starcraft from time to time during our LANs at university.

it all depended on the situation, who i was playing against, and various other factors. But for me, it was protoss. Plasma cannons, zealots,, and dragoons baby. Not to mention carriers, and interceptors

And and 10 Protos ships that launch 80 small fighters were the best posible attack.

And zealots are the coolest unit in the game

Templars. And battlecruisers will toast you before you can even get close enough to cast Psionic Storm.
Then send a Science Vessel against the Carriers with an EMP and Yamato the suckers.
